But I keep losing patrons.

I need this to live. I’m telling you, if I have to go back into retail I won’t be able to do even half the art I manage now. Despite some very real problems the state seems to think I am fit for the workforce. So I have to either make it on my art, or want to die almost every day… again. I cannot accurately describe to you how extremely worn out dealing with people in face time makes me feel. Especially if I have to bend to their arbitrary whims all day.

I’ve been posting, been planning great projects, been stepping my game up as best as I can manage. I have been improving my offers and goals. I almost got to my $500 goal! But then… for some reason I just started losing people. Even if I upload consistently! People keep leaving.

I asked my last new $25 patron what they wanted for their first reward, and they left.

I am now back down to around $350, which is a $150 some dollar loss over two months. I was barely scraping by at $450, I can’t really afford this loss.

I know I am a bit slow, I have a lot to deal with and work through. I try to have something for you every couple of days at least. When that doesn’t happen, things are typically just awaiting approval from their respective clients. The only way I can get faster is by having less garbage to wade through in the rest of my life.

I am offering some decent perks for only $1. Just one measly dollar a month. Out of my 5000 followers on my main art blog (not counting the myriad of dead blogs and pornbots) I have only drawn in 42 people. 

I have been trying really hard to be polite and professional but I am obviously not good at it, or it’d be working. 

So let me be frank: I need this or it’s over. I have to be able to pay my bills. Any job outside of this will consume my time and energy to the point of my art becoming very scarce. If you want me to keep making art, to keep improving, and get faster at it, I need this Patreon income so I can invest my time and energy into the art, instead of asking people if they want fries all day while my soul dies and I give up on any hope I had of enjoying my life.

I’ve been fair about the pay-walling. I don’t really do it. Most of my stuff comes out for free. Please don’t force me to regret that decision.

Even one dollar. It’s completely fine. It adds up if people actually join. 500 people at one dollar equals $500. That makes my first goal, which I think would be really fun, and really pay off for you too! 

I have the audience, I just can’t seem to reach it.

Do you want my art to keep coming? Do you want my pony blogs back? Do you want me to expand on my own characters too? I can do that, but I need your help.
