You walk the streets of Old Bastia, a quaint little town south of the capitol, when a grubby bird runs up to you wearing tarnished robes belonging to a priest of Pelor, the “RE” on their “REPENT” sign faded. They wield a stone sun caked with garden dirt at you and screech, “REPENT!” And look at you. After a few moments of confusion on both sides, they scurry away.

Pent is my kenku cleric of Pelor who has saved more than a few lives. What is his name? Only a few know, most just call him what he’s labeled. He grew up in an orphanage in the super corrupt town of Mykinos, where he helped the head priest of the church running the orphanage with priestly duties.

The priest was slain, Pent took up a stone carved in the sun’s image from a townsfolk’s garden and travels the world, seeking out the Father’s killer. He shouts “REPENT!” in the voice of the slain priest, knowing his murderer will react and Pent will know. Along the way, he makes attempts to please Pelor and make the world a little brighter, healing the sick homeless and stealing shinies for local orphanages.
