The Real Wendy
So you guys might have seen all this Wendy’s fanart being thrown around all across the interwebs. Here’s a little fun fact that it seems like most people dont actually know. The Wendy’s Mascot full name is Melinda Lou “Wendy” Thomas…and not only that, shes actually a real person.
Melinda Lou “Wendy” Thomas was born in September 14th 1961 in Columbus, Ohio. (Age:55)
Her Father was Dave Thomas, the Founder of the Wendy’s fast food restaurant chain, she was also the inspiration behind the Company’s name “Wendy’s” since that was her Nickname. Not only was the company named after her, the Mascot they choose was actually based on her looks when she was younger. She still works for her fathers Company till this day (She runs or co-owns more than 30 Wendy’s store locations)
Now im not gonna go write a fucking Essay on this chicks entire life, but honestly I can only dream about being as successful as she is.
